Bindi Irwin Wrestles HUGE Croc - Just Like Her Dad!

The apple certainly doesn't fall far from the tree!

Bindi Irwin has shared the heart-in-mouth moment she got down and dirty with the rest of the Australia Zoo Croc Team, jumping on a 15 FOOT crocodile.

The 18-year-old is along for the ride during the annual "Croc Trip", which sees the highly trained team capture, track and release a number of the reptiles in a huge conservation effort.

But Bindi made sure not to leave her late father out, explaining that the work she is carrying on today was pioneered by him - in every way.

"Crikey! Check out Big Dunc!" she captioned the video.

"Our highly experienced Australia Zoo Croc Team uses the very same capture techniques that Dad developed so many years ago.

"Our team leader, Toby Millyard, was trained by Dad himself and continues to help us carry on in his footsteps.

"We truly have the most elite team when it comes to catching crocs and we all share the passion of protecting crocodiles as well as educating others."

CRIKEY! Check out Big Dunc on the #CrocTrip2016 🐊🌿 Our highly experienced @AustraliaZoo Croc Team uses the very same capture techniques that Dad developed so many years ago. Our team leader, Toby Millyard was trained by Dad himself and continues to help us carry on in his footsteps. We truly have the most elite team when it comes to catching crocs and we all share the passion of protecting crocodiles as well as educating others. These techniques have allowed us to safely capture crocs such as Big Dunc. Big Dunc is a whopping 15 feet 1.5 inches of sheer power. He is currently the largest crocodile we are tracking in the Wenlock River. This is the third time Big Dunc has decided to stop by for a free meal and to say g'day to our team. Somehow he manages to seem bigger and bigger with each visit. Big Dunc is just one of the 146 (and counting) crocodiles we are currently tracking throughout the Wenlock River.

And just in case you were still in doubt about how hands-on the young conservationist really was, she made sure to post an even more impressive snap - and this one was a close-up.

While the clip garnered some criticism, accusing the Dancing with the Stars winner of cruelty, the majority of commenters praised Bindi for following in her father's footsteps.

This year's Croc Trip took place just a few days before the tenth anniversary of Steve Irwin's death, for which Bindi posted a sweet, touching tribute to the man who inspired not just her, but millions of animal lovers around the world.
