You Won't Believe Pippa Middleton's Absurd Wedding Demand
With all the buzz surrounding Pippa Middleton's wedding to hedge fund manager James Matthews, you would be forgiven for thinking it was the wedding of a royal.
Firstly there was the will she, won't she, of whether the Duchess of Cambridge would stand by her sister as her Maid of Honour.
Then the furore around the no ring, no bring rule that would initially rule out Prince Harry inviting his actress girlfriend Meghan Markle.
Now, we're pretty certain that Kate will not stand as a bridesmaid on the day and instead will relish the day amongst the crowd, and Markle has been offered an invite to not only the wedding but also the reception.
But Pippa has come up with a somewhat absurd new rule to keep her wedding day in the headlines.
While it's not uncommon for the Bride to change outfits or wear a second dress for the reception (something more comfortable or perhaps just another opportunity to relish all eyes on you on your big day), Pippa has allegedly requested ALL guests bring a second outfit for the reception.
Guests at #pippamiddleton's wedding have been asked to take second outfit for reception. Is this a trend? Sounds like a bore to me— Richard Eden (@richardaeden) May 9, 2017
As if finding one perfect outfit for the wedding of the year isn't hard enough, she now is requesting everyone change while she's off with her new hubby getting photos!?
Are the royal family, number of celebs, athletes and esteemed upper class expected to rush into the public toilets at the reception venue and change outfits in the cubicles?
And ultimately, we can't wrap our heads around 'why'?
The invite list reportedly places 350 guests at the ceremony, costing the pair a hair-raising AUS$440,000.
Must be one hell of a wedding!
