Vince Colosimo Opens Up About Being Charged With Meth
Vince Colosimo was charged with drug possession after police found methamphetamine on him late last year.
And now the 50-year-old star of TV crime series Underbelly has opened up about the incident, telling The Daily Telegraph that the devastating charge has been a massive ‘wake-up call.’
“Some people make mistakes, I did, and this has been a wake-up call,” the father-of-two admitted. “I have two beautiful children, whom I love more than anything in the world, and I want to be a good role model for them.”
Adding: “They, and acting, are my two biggest loves.”
Vince, who is best known for playing Alphonse Gangitano in Underbelly 2008, says he wants to settle the matter “as soon as possible” for the sake of his two children.
The Silver Logie-nominated actor had been struggling to find work at the time of his arrest in September.
He had also been battling ex-partner Jane Hall over the sale of their $890,000 Melbourne home.
Vince will front Melbourne Magistrates Court next month.
