Stunning Feedback That Left Australia Amazed On Masterchef

It is finally here! The brand new season of Masterchef Australia.

And on the first show of the year, the judges were left stunned by a 19-year-old university student named Michelle, who whipped up an amazing and intricate chocolate golden ball dessert, which they believed could be served in a ‘Michelin star’ restaurant.

Michelle, who will be known as Mich, made it through the auditions and got an apron after Gary Mehigan told her 'You're a bit of a freak!'

'Lovely freshness from the raspberries,' Gary said.

'That mousse is so super-light, but not kind of overly rich. Chocolate is outstanding,' he added about her dessert.

Matt Preston, without even tasting the dish, said 'I think the last time I saw that it was in a two-star Michelin restaurant. That is wonderful.'

Michelle’s dish was a chocolate ball with a raspberry mint jelly, two-cheese mousse, mascarpone and cream cheese, white chocolate, chocolate shards, French crepes popping candies, raspberry coulis and edible flowers inside.

The judges believed that by doing such an amazing dish at such a young age ‘the world is your oyster.’

Could we have already seen our winner, on night one?
