'The Voice' Accommodating Contestants with Prostitutes
Channel 9 has some explaining to do, after accommodating their Voice contestants (some as young as 16-years-old) in a hotel known for prostitution and drugs.
The Daily Telegraph has exclusively revealed that the Meriton apartments in Zetland have had police officers roaming the hallways regularly because the issues are so bad. A security company hired by Channel 9 also performs nightly patrols in unmarked cars.
The apartments are apparently “high on the radar” for police, with regular arrests being made against the colourful characters in the building.
A police source said, “It’s fair to say there’s some pretty sordid activity that goes on in there. We’re working with management to address the problems.”
Alternatively, The Voice judges have it a lot better, staying in 5 star hotels and private homes around Sydney.
