Sydney ‘Camilla Kaftan Thief’ Is Actually A Soccer WAG!
It was the story that left us all a little flabbergasted when we heard it, and now it’s been revealed that the woman who almost successfully made a break from the Camilla warehouse sale with 17 free kaftans, is a soccer WAG.
News.com.au reports that Elise Arnaudon, wife of former Socceroo and current Central Coast Mariners Assistant Coach Jason Van Blerk, posed as a security guard at Paddington Town Hall, where the sale was being held.
Wearing a Camilla kaftan, she allegedly entered the sale around 1pm and made herself known to staff before she was observed repeatedly leaving and re-entering the premises.

Around 3pm, a woman was observed placing items of clothing in plastic bags. Security staff allegedly located 17 different items of clothing in bags and police were called.
Onlookers watched on as she was marched out of the hall by uniformed police before being placed into a police van.
Her plan may have worked, as designer Camilla Franks had flown in extra shop assistants to cope with the large scale.
No word yet on the punishment Ms Arnaudon will receive for the alleged theft.
