#Family 💓 After this stressful reunion, I’ve been put through the ringer. To trust an entire group of people for years then they turn their back on you and treat you like a puppet is beyond words. Family is everything I need to make it through my hard times and I am truly #blessed for what I have today. Didn’t take many pictures but super happy my mom was there by my side to defend everything. Please don’t ever let anyone bring you down and be strong in whatever you do. #TeenMom2 #ReunionSpecial
“MTV ended it’s relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of ‘Teen Mom 2’ with him since,” an MTV spokesperson said to Variety on Wednesday.
“Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”
Evans has since told US Weekly that she was “shocked” by the news but she “saw it coming”.
“It’s shocking still but I respect their decision and have nothing but love for MTV. This is a new chapter for me and my family,” she said.
“I will continue to try what’s best for me and my family.”
Eason allegedly took the family’s French Bulldog, Nugget, into the woods and killed him after he “snapped at” their 2-year-old daughter Ensley.
In a since deleted post to Instagram, Eason attempted to explain his actions.
“I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s**t at all,” he wrote, alongside a video of Ensley trying to hug Nugget.
“I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isn't the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather [sic] or not a animal [sic] is a danger to MY CHILD is ME."
Evans also took to Instagram to speak about the incident, writing how devastated she was at the loss of her dog.
“Nugget... I’m crying every day. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my sidekick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons.
“Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here,” she continued.

At first, it seemed like Evans was looking to divorce Eason of the senseless incident, but her manager has since said that they are hoping to work past this.
