Prince Harry’s Heartbreaking Admission About His Mum
Prince Harry has made the heartbreaking confession that his childhood memories of his mother are fading, as he celebrates the 10 year anniversary of the charity founded in her name.
The now 31-year-old Royal was only 12-years-old when Lady Diana Spencer was killed in a car crash in Paris in 1997, and sadly, he can’t recall a lot of their time together.
In an interview with People he said: 'I don't have that many memories of my childhood with my Mum.'
He also expressed his desire to make him proud, saying that he is 'sure' she inspires the work that he is now doing, 'whether he knows it or not', admitting that he often thinks to himself: 'All I want to do is make my mother proud.' 'That's all I've ever wanted to do,' he explained, adding: 'When she died, there was a gaping hole, not just for us but also for a huge amount of people across the world.
'If I can try to fill a very small part of that, then job done.'
