Paparazzi Reveals Behind-The-Scenes Wedding Drama

It was THE Aussie wedding of the year and it certainly didn't disappoint; celebrities, friends and family descended on a top secret location in the Southern Highlands over the weekend to watch Today's Sylvia Jeffreys and 60 Minutes' Peter Stefanovic tie the knot.

Best. Day. Ever. Thanks to our beautiful friends and family for all the ❤ 📽 @js35

It wasn't until late yesterday afternoon, though, that we started getting some behind-the-scenes shots of the incredible Kangaroo Valley ceremony - and now we have some behind-the-scenes gossip.

Kyle and Jackie O talked to one of Australia’s leading paparazzi, Johnathan Marshall, who was in a chopper above the ceremony as the television couple said “I do”.

“We decided looking at the area and doing a bit of a recce in the days before that the best way to shoot this wedding was from the air,” Johnathan told Kyle and Jackie O on Monday morning, explaining that he was on the ground and in contact with his guy in the helicopter.

According to Johnathan, the dozens of paparazzi who had swarmed the Southern Highlands – even bringing drones with them – copped a warning from the security team that if they were caught in the foliage they “probably wouldn’t be coming out alive”.

But there was even more drama the morning after the wedding.

“There is a massive witch hunt going on this morning in the sleepy Kangaroo Valley, to do with the leaking of the audio from Karl Stefanovic’s best man’s speech,” Johnathan revealed.

In the speech, Karl sings about Peter’s “fear of flying high”, that “Pete was considered at some point in his life to be gay” and that “the Stefanovics have such beautiful heads that they don’t need to pay for sh*t.”

Johnathan revealed: “One of the guests, he’s left the wedding quite excited, and he’s brought his phone, full of videos from the day, down to a group of media.

“There were offers of cash, but the man has taken a bit of an eye to a reporter from The Daily Mail.

“So she’s managed to get this audio off this guest for free, despite people offering thousands of dollars for it.”

Johnathan didn’t reveal who the guilty part was but he did say that it might cause a rift between the Jeffreys and Stefanovic families.

This will be the first wedge that drives between the two families that have now come together,” he hinted.
