Meghan Markle’s Sister Has Lashed Out At Prince Harry
You may or may not be familiar with Samantha Grant, the half sister of Prince Harry’s bride-to-be; Meghan Markle.
No stranger to controversy, Grant, who is 17 years older than Markle has formerly been in the press calling Markle a ‘shallow social climber’, claiming she had shunned the family since becoming a star on the TV series, Suits.
“The Royal Family would be appalled by what she has done to her own family,” she said. Grant has also been vocal about the fact that Markle did little to help her father whens he fell on difficult times.
She also wrote a book, called The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister. Needless to say, we don’t expect to see her at the wedding of the year in May next year - especially since she’s now turned her attention to Prince Harry.
After guest editing the BBC’s flagship radio news show, Today, the Prince said that his family had loved having Meghan with them for Christmas and that his was “the family she never had”.
Harry said: “The family loved having her there. “There’s always that family part of Christmas (where) there’s always that work element there as well, and I think together we had an amazing time.
“We had great fun staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running round with the kids. Christmas was fantastic.”
“She’s done an absolutely amazing job, she’s getting there and it’s the family that, I suppose, she’s never had.”
Grant took to Twitter to address the Prince’s comments.
“Actually she [Meghan] has a large family who were always there with her and for her.
“Our household was very normal and when dad and Doria divorced, we all made it so it was like she had two houses.
“No one was estranged, she was just too busy.
“Meg’s family (our family) is complete with sister, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the glue of our family, our amazing completely self-sacrificing father. She always had this family ... Marrying merely extends it.
“She has a large family. She always did. Our dad is amazing and completely self sacrificing. We made it so that she had two houses. How fun it was!”
