MAFS Susan Had Revealed All About The REAL Sean!
Australia fell in love with Sean and Susan on Married At First Sight, but it’s not what you thought.
Speaking to news.com.au, Susan has said that her husband was completely different to how he was portrayed on the show.
Susan said “I wanted to leave half way through... His kids were crying to him on Skype: ‘Please come home daddy, we don’t know why you’re away for so long’. And I said, ‘No, you need to go, we’re just friends, you need to go’," the 37-year-old told the news publication. "And he’s like, ‘Nah, I need the money, I’m going to New Zealand in April on my first overseas trip ever. I need some spending money’."
The couples were paid a maximum of $200 a day to be in the series, and while Susan doesn’t hold any resentment towards the farmer, she does want people to know he was very different off the air.
She continued to say "...he did stand up for what was right... on camera... he is a completely different person off camera.”
While the show led viewers to believe that the only thing keeping Sean and Susan apart was distance, Susan says that they tried to do distance ‘as friends’, but Sean instead decided not to give it a try.
She says ‘his exact response (was), ‘I’m too busy breeding my horses that weekend’. And I went, what? And he said, ‘I’m too busy breeding my horses that break. I’m going to a rodeo on the weekend, and I want my horse's bread that break and I need to be out there breeding them with the stallions’.”
Well, love isn't what we thought.
