Louis Tomlinson Speaks Out About The Death Of His Sister

Former one direction member Louis Tomlinson has spoken out about the loss of his younger sister, Félicité Tomlinson, a month after her tragic death.

The singer sent out a Tweet, thanking his fans for their support, while also revealing that he’s back working on his music.

“Just wanted to thank everyone for their lovely words over the past couple of weeks,” Louis wrote in the tweet.

“Back in the studio today to vocal something I wrote a few months ago. Sending you all loads of love x.”

Félicité was only 18 when she reportedly collapsed from a suspected heart attack on Wednesday, March 13, at her apartment in London.

The Metropolitan Police Service told E! News that officers were called to a residential address by London Ambulance Service following reports that a female was in cardiac arrest. She couldn’t be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Félicité’s death came just two years after her and Louis’ mum, Johanna Deakin, passed away following a battle with leukaemia.

Back in March Louis released a song titled ‘Two Of Us’ about his mother’s death.

Speaking with Kyle and Jackie O earlier this year, Louis revealed that he’s been struggling since his mother passed away but has found some strength in music.

“Obviously it’s not been easy, but I felt like it was time to write this song. I mean a lot of people I think bottle up these emotions and I think I’m probably one of those people as well,” Louis began.

“And I think it was important to kind of put this in a song in the hope that not only I feel better from saying those words but hopefully people all relate to it in their own way and come to their own conclusions and maybe they’ll feel a bit better.”

Our thoughts are with Louis and his family during this difficult time.
