Kris Gives An Update On Kanye West Following Hospitalisation

Yesterday following an announcement that Kanye West slammed Jay Z and Beyonce 10 minutes (three songs) into his Saint Pablo concert, he was hospitalised.

Many people believed a breakdown was on the cards, as details of the incident unfolded. According to law enforcement sources cops responded to a call for a welfare check on Kanye around 1:20 PM PT.

He was at his trainer Harley Pasternak's home at the time and was "acting erratically."

TMZ was told police called L.A. Fire, and by the time paramedics arrived Kanye was calmer but still resistant to going to the hospital.

They report that everyone - his management and law enforcement - convinced him it was best he go.

Law enforcement sources revealed Kanye was handcuffed to a gurney during transport to the hospital, which is standard protocol.

That evening, Kim was scheduled to make her first public appearance since the Paris robbery, alongside Khloe, Kourtney and her mum Kris.

However given the news, Kim skipped the event to be by Kanye’s side, while her mum and sister’s attended the annual Angel Ball, which was being held in honour of the late Robert Kardashian.

Kris was kind enough to give quite a few updates on his condition. According to People, Kris told an onlooker Kanye is “exhausted.”

No human is unbreakable or indestructible. We are all built on life experiences and emotions. Sadly we have become so insensitive as a generation to real feelings and real pain unless it's us that is feeling it. If it isn't us then it becomes a meme or a topic of gossip and comical conversation. Yet if it was us we would be shocked at how people were reacting. It has to stop. So next time you feel the need to say something mean or hurtful or make a joke about someone you know or someone you have never even met when they are suffering. Look at their life and their experiences and be a support. Be understanding. Be sensitive. No one is perfect and fame and money doesn't make anyone less likely to feel hurt. The day we think "What do they need from me emotionally to feel stronger and better" before "I can't believe they didn't do that for me" is the day the world will be a better place. I pray this man is okay. ❤️ And I just want to clarify I would never joke about anyone's pain and I haven't ever including in this situation. Not why I'm posting this. Posting it to make anyone who reads this aware of how we as a world can try and be a little better ❤️

She echoed that sentiment in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, adding that the rapper, who cancelled the final 21 shows of the Saint Pablo tour, is “just really tired… it’s a grueling tour.”

Kris also spoke to Extra just before Kanye’s hospitalization news broke: “He’s exhausted, he’s just really tired. He’s had a grueling tour and it’s been a grind so he just needs some rest.”

November is also the anniversary of his mother, Donda’s death, which happened nine years ago.

“He keeps that pain internalized, but sometimes will talk about how hard this time of year is for him. He works through the pain every November,” the source says.
