The announcement came after Jessica’s father Joe Simpson accidentally gave away the news in a tweet which was swiftly deleted.

The Tweet said, “I want to announce the birth of my granddaughter ‘Birdie’. Everyone is great. We are so blessed.”

Jessica and hubby Eric are also parents to their daughter Maxwell and 5-year-old son Ace.

She announced that she was pregnant with their third child back in September 2018 in pictures of the gender reveal on Instagram.

“This little baby girl will make us a family of five,” she wrote in the post. “We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life.”

The name Birdie was rumoured to be the name of Simpson’s daughter after she posted a picture from her baby shower with a decoration in the background giving it away.
