ELF Has Been Voted Greatest Christmas Film Of All Time
BREAKING NEWS: Will Ferrell's 2003 christmas film 'Elf' has been voted the greatest Christmas movie of all time.
And in other news, the sky is blue and the ocean is wet...Sorry we don't mean to be so sarcastic but seriously, this news is so unsurprising that it should be met with a resounding 'DUH!!'.
And if for some possible reason you disagree and think that 'Elf' is NOT the greatest christmas movie of all time then you're a cotton headed ninny muggin!
Okay, okay that's a bit harsh, but seriously Will Ferrel as Buddy the Elf has got to be one of the funniest things we have ever seen, and apparently a lot of other people agree.
According to the website Ranker, the film 'Elf' starring Ferrell and other A-list actors including James Cann and Zooey Deschanel, has been given the ultimate title of 'The Best PG Christmas Movie'.
I mean, how could you not love a guy who just loves to smile, sing and spread christmas cheer!
Of course coming in at number one was no easy feat and it saw some tough competition with other PG rated Christmas films.
Taking out silver was the classic Dr. Seuss' film 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' and third place went to 'The Santa Clause'. Both of which are arguably just as quotable as 'Elf'.
We were however disappointed to see some golden Chrissy themed movies so low down on the list. Come on, how did 'Home Alone' come in at 5th?!
Little Kevin fighting off bad guys with a set of boobie-traps in his house is a classic!
So while we don't agree with all of the placements on this extensive list we do appreciate that we now have a compilation of 27 films that we can binge watch in the lead up to Christmas!
