Fan Of IT? You're Going To LOVE This New Netflix Movie
Just as we were starting to recover from It - which, by the way, just became the highest grossing horror movie of all time - Netflix have dropped the trailer for a new Stephen King adaptation so freaky, we're going back to sleeping with the lights on.
1922 is based on a novella straight from the same twisted brain that wrote The Shining and Carrie and already has our skin crawling.
Set in the titular year, it tells the story of a farmer by the name of Thomas Jane whose wife wants to divorce him and move to the city, threatening to take the couple's son with her.
Jane decides that his only option is to murder her and throw her into the well on their sprawling property - something that will come back to haunt him in more ways than one.
As you can expect from a story dreamed up by Stephen King, it's very dark and incredibly twisted, and definitely not a movie to watch if you're in any way scared of rats.
Luckily we don't have to much longer to wait; 1922 is due to drop on Netflix October 20, right before Hallowe'en.
Who needs sleep anyway?
