HOLY SH*T: Harley Quinn Is Officially Getting Her Own TV Sho
DC have announced a new Harley Quinn television that’s set to hit our small screens in 2018!
Harley Quinn proved to be the highlight and standout star of the 2016 film Suicide Squad, so it’s no surprise that not only is she involved in a number of various film projects, but also a television show!
The show is rated for adult audiences and will be animated in what looks to be a typical comic book style art. As displayed by the concept art below done by Amanda Conner.
There will be 26 episodes and will air exclusively on DC’s upcoming digital streaming service. The show will “focus on a Quinn who’s broken things off with the Joker and is attempting to find success in the Gotham City underworld on her own, alongside her friend Poison Ivy and a whole cast of heroes and villains,” according to DC.
Aussie actress Margot Robbie is also rumoured to be voicing the lead role after it has been said she was approached by Warner Bros for the part. It also would make sense for her to do it considering how closely associated she is to the character.
An exact release date is still to come.
More Harley Quinn? Who could complain!?
