MAFS Bride Scarlett Has Had To Call The Police

Married At First Sight bride has filed a police complaint after she allegedly was assaulted and held on set against her will by a producer.

The bride was filming a reunion episode on January 30, when she declared she was chased through the Sydney streets ar 3AM after being prevented from leaving the film set.

Apparently, the 20 minute chase ended when Scarlett was left ‘hysterical and disoriented’ and collided with a police car that she had requested.

Channel Nine have released a statement about the incident assuring it was a 'As a duty of care, a producer followed her off set to ensure her safety. A misunderstanding resulted in police attending to also ensure Scarlett's safety. Together, production and the police ensured she was escorted home safety,' said a spokesperson.

\The bride identified herself to the police by using a different name and occupation that has been shown on the show.

According to the publication, the star retracted her statement later that day.

At the commitment ceremony in Sunday night's episode, Scarlett and her husband Michael decided to end their marriage and leave the show.
