"It's A Flop": Bachelor In Paradise's Bill SLAMS Channel Ten
Bachelor In Paradise's Bill Goldsmith has slammed Channel Ten in a series of scathing social media posts, claiming the show "f**ked" his reputation through editing.
After his treatment of Florence Moerenhout and Alex Nation was broadcast for the world to see, it comes as no surprise that extreme backlash followed. But, could Bill actually be the innocent party here?
The 32-year-old has taken to Instagram to criticise the network for their malicious editing of the program, which has "f**ked" his reputation.
He also addressed this season's lacklustre ratings, calling the show a "flop".
"Channel Ten and Warner Bros have f**ked me over all for their ratings, and literally f**ked my reputation," he wrote.
"I'm pretty hurt by the whole thing."
In another comment, he wrote: "A reality TV show doesn't define me.
"They have edited me and made me out to be someone who I'm not, all for their TV ratings. The ratings are another flop anyways, so not really sure it was all worth it."
This season of Bachelor In Paradise depicts Bill as the leading "villain" after his controversial love triangle with Alex Nation and Florence Moerenhout.
Following Tuesday night's episode, the plumber was faced with an onslaught of nasty comments after he denied sexually propositioning Florence, before accusing the 29-year-old of lying about it in an attempt to sabotage his relationship with Alex.
He publicly apologised on Instagram for his unacceptable treatment of Florence.
"I’d like to whole heartedly apologise to Florence for speaking about her like I did, no one deserves that," he wrote.
"Every single one of us were in Fiji for our own reasons, whether that was the experience, love, relationships, money, opportunities or business either way, no judgement from me."

Looking back on my time in paradise, I’d like to think I’d handle the same situation a lot differently. I was navigating my way through a range of emotions in an environment like no other on this planet. I’d like to whole heartedly apologise to @florencealexandras for speaking about her like I did, no one deserves that. Florence didn't take long to respond to the apology, deeming it fake.
"Yeah nah you had a long time between filming and airing. You’re not sorry for what you did to me - you’re sorry that you’re now the most hated man in the country. Made you bed pal, sleep well."
Bachelor In Paradise continues Tuesday at 8:40PM on Channel Ten.
