Amy Schumer’s Heartbreaking Recount Of Her 'First Time'
When you think of Amy Schumer, no doubt you think of the funny woman that’s graced our televisions for a few years now, using her dry, stoic sense of humour to make us laugh uncontrollably.
However, during an interview with Marie Claire magazine, Schumer opened up about an issue that she had kept close to her chest for many years; the horror of her first sexual experience.
She said: 'My first sexual experience was not a good one. I didn’t think about it until I started reading my journal again. When it happened, I wrote about it almost like a throwaway.
'It was like, And then I looked down and realized he was inside me. He was saying, "I’m so sorry" and "I can’t believe I did this."'
She was quick to add that she wasn’t looking to punish anyone and that he is no longer in her life. 'This was 17 years ago.
There are just so many factors', she said.
She goes on to explain that it happened a second time with another boyfriend who ignored her when said so 'no'. 'I had another time with a boyfriend where I was saying, ‘No, stop,’ and it was just completely ignored', she said.
Though Amy doesn't identify herself as a victim she told interviewer Allison Glock that feels there is a big problem in society when it comes to victim blaming.
'You know, with the rape survivor, it’s not just shaming, it’s fury. It makes people so mad if you’re not a perfect victim.' she said.
