There Is Some Really Great News For Kylie Minogue!
Australian pop star Kylie Minogue has been honoured by Prince Phillip for her role as a cultural ambassador.
The singer, actor and entertainer was given the award on Tuesday at Windsor Castle and was acknowledged her significant contribution to the Britain-Australia relationship”, and for her work as a singer, songwriter, actor, philanthropist and cultural ambassador for both countries.
Minogue said “I am delighted to accept this award from the Britain-Australia Society,’’
“I’m a proud Aussie but Britain has a very strong place in my heart having lived and worked here for many years.
“The Society does a wonderful job to promote the rich cultural ties between the two countries and I am honoured to be recognised by them in this way.’’
Prince Phillip is the patron of the Prince Philip is the patron of the Britain-Australia Society and made the presentation to Minogue in Windsor Castle’s White Drawing Room.
