Madonna’s Son Rocco Ritchie Lands Himself A Very BIZARRE Job
His mother may be the biggest pop star in the world, but Madonna's son Rocco Ritchie is refusing to bank on that.
According to The Sun, the 16-year-old has nabbed himself a job that is about as far from celebrity status as you can get - delivering take-away meals on his bike.
Rocco, who lives in London with his father Guy Ritchie, has been earning some extra cash thanks to the takeaway food app Deliveroo.
“It’s been a bit of a laugh for him and a way to placate his mum and dad until he works out what he wants to do,” a source told the paper.
“They both agree a bit of discipline and a schedule would do him good, whether that comes from voluntary work or something low paid.”
The source also revealed that Rocco could have another possible job, adding: “He has been looking into working in a local gardening centre.”
It could also be an attempt for the teen to keep himself out of trouble, after he was arrested for suspicion of possessing cannabis in September.
Rocco’s relationship with his mother has been tenuous of late, after he said he would rather live with his father in London, but the pair now seem to be back on track.
Madonna released a statement following her son’s brush with the law, saying she is supporting Rocco.
“I love my son very much. I will do whatever I can to give him the support that he needs, and I ask that you respect our privacy at this time,” she said.
