Khloe Kardashian's Ex-Boyfriend Slams Relationship
If they weren't already on frosty terms, they are now: Khloe Kardashian's ex-boyfriend has opened up about his relationship with the reality star, slamming the constant scrutiny that followed the former couple.
James Harden split from Khloe last February amid allegations that he had been cheating on the 32-year-old but Harden has, until now, remained silent on the issue.
"I feel like it was for no reason," the basketball player told Sports Illustrated. "I wasn't getting anything out of it except my name out there and my face out there, and I don't need that.
"It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't me."
Harden also revealed that the effect Kardashian fan-base had on his life extended past his eight-month relationship.
He continued: "I don't need pictures of myself when I'm driving my car. Who cares? What shoes am I wearing? Who cares. It was unnecessary stuff that I think trickled down to my teammates.
"I had to eliminate that."
Rumours that Harden had been unfaithful escalated when Khloe hinted that dating long-distance had taken its toll.
"I've always said, 'We don't need to be monogamous,'" she said on short-lived talk show Kocktails With Khloe. "'There's a lot of sh*t going on in both of our lives. You live in Houston, I live in LA. Let's just see each other when we see each other.'
"Why wouldn't you say, 'OK, that's great'? He sought me out, wanted to be committed, then wasn't committed.
"[I] found out he wasn't, and I got the receipts to prove it."
If experience is anything to go by, we can expect a sassy and cutting Instagram post from Khloe any minute now.
